Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy

The Registered Massage Therapists at our clinic pride themselves on getting to the root of what is causing your pain and discomfort and treating the cause. We use hands-on techniques affecting the soft tissues of the body including the muscles, tendons, ligaments, connective tissues and joints. Our goal is to get you feeling better quickly.

According to the Massage Therapy Act of 1991, the practice of massage therapy is the assessment of the soft tissue and joints of the body and the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function or relieve pain.

An online Health History form is completed before your visit; so that based on your history, and the initial assessment done by your Registered Massage Therapist, a personalized treatment plan will be created. This will involve manual massage therapy techniques, education as well as a home program for you to maximize the results of your treatment.

Consent is always obtained before a treatment is started, the client is always encouraged to provide feedback during the session, and if any time a client is uncomfortable with a technique or pressure, the therapist will modify the treatment to accommodate the client’s needs.

All Massaged Therapists at our clinic are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and are therefore covered by most extended healthcare benefit packages.

We offer a variety of massage services including: Sports massage, Hot Stone Massage and Cupping Massage.
